Secret Men’s Business

In 1982 American pop duo The Weather Girls had a disco hit with a song called “It’s Raining Men”.

Encouraged by that success, a group of men within the Greythorn Probus Club developed an idea whimsically known as SMB or “Secret Men’s Business”, which meets on the last Tuesday of each month, where retired and semi-retired men (or those preparing to retire) can extend their circle of contacts and chat about what interests them in a pleasant environment.

The group is, of course, open to new ideas.  All are welcome to join in and contribute their experiences, knowledge and interests to the informal discussions. The gatherings build comradery between the participants building warm friendships amongst members.

So, fellas, come along, have brunch or just a coffee and chat with the friendly group from the club from 9:30 am on the last Tuesday of the month at Olive Lane Cafe in the North Balwyn Village, Doncaster Road, North Balwyn.  There’s plenty of parking in the area behind the north side shops.  Check out the latest details in this month’s newsletter  here

And by the way, in case you are wondering, from the membership of around 114, the fellas account for only 25%!
