Discussion

The Discussion group aims to provide a social and general interest activity for members the Club. The group generally meets at 11am  on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at the Harp or Erin Hotel.  The format is usually a 1 hour period of slide/discussions on technical/topical and various mixed subjects followed by lunch (at own cost). 

Recent discussion topics have included the complexities of managing Australia’s electricity distribution management, the West Gate Bridge collapse, the rise and implications of electric vehicles, the government plans for achieving net zero carbon emissions, China’s Belt and Road initiative —–  there’s no limit to the range of topics.
