Discussion

The Discussion group aims to provide a social and general interest activity for members the Club. The group generally meets at 11am  on the 2nd Thursday of the month at the Harp or Erin Hotel.  The format is usually a 1 hour period of discussion on a variety of topics followed by lunch (at own cost). 

Recent discussion topics have included the complexities of managing Australia’s electricity distribution management, the rise and implications of electric vehicles, the government plans for achieving net zero carbon emissions, Victoria’s Treaty with local indigenous groups, China’s Belt and Road initiative —–  there’s no limit to the range of topics.
